Professional avalanche safety set with a beacon, shovel and a 320 cm-long probe
With the BD Guide Avy Safety Set, you’ll have everything you need for your professional avalanche equipment. The set consists of the Guide BT Beacon, the Quickdraw Pro 320 Probe and the Evac 7 Shovel from Black Diamond. The set is perfect for mountain guides, staff on ski slopes, ski tourers and freeriders.
The 320 cm-long probe has a stable aluminium design and its quickdraw system allows for a fast deployment. As for the shovel, it has a unique handle that can be set up as a standard shovel or hoe for digging test pits or rapid snow removal. The large blade moves lots of snow quickly, and the flat-bottom profile helps you get a good clean face on your pit wall. The set is completed by the 3-antenna beacon, which has a maximum range of 60 metres and has a battery life of up to 400 hours in send mode. You can also connect to the PIEPS app via bluetooth to update the firmware or set a training mode.
