The BD Alpine Avy Safety Set from Black Diamond includes the Recon LT Beacon, the Transfer LT Shovel and the Quickdraw Carbon 240 probe. This set is perfect for touring skiers and freeriders who are out and about in the snowy mountains and want to save as much weight as possible.

The probe is, above all, characterised by its sturdy construction and is quickly ready for use thanks to the Quickdraw system. In addition, the shovel features a unique handle for efficient snow shovelling, so carrying out a snow study or shovelling away large quantities of the white stuff is no problem. Last but not least, the set is rounded off by the 3-antenna avalanche beacon, which impresses with its maximum range of 50 metres and a battery life of up to 200 hours in transmit mode. Plus, it can even optionally be connected to the PIEPS app via Bluetooth, which allows you to update the firmware or set it on training mode.
