Product description
The trail can be a more unforgiving place than Great Aunt Priscilla's house at Christmas time (seriously, why is she always so judgemental') but the Arc'teryx Zeta AR Men's Jacket brushes off precipitation, fends off grabby branches, and fights off discomfort whether you're out for a short hike or on a month-long trek. It can't, unfortunately make Great Aunt Priscilla respect you, but at least the 3L Gore-Tex membrane is totally waterproof and seriously breathable, with fully taped seams that banish even the most insidious forms of dampness and a soft tricot backing that feels good against skin and moves moisture away from your body.At just one pound, the Zeta's nice and light on your back and in your pack, but the DWR-coated 40D nylon shell is plenty tough enough to handle bushwhacks, grabby branches, and repeated rubbing from pack straps. Arc'teryx made the cuffs, hem, and hood all fully adjustable, made sure all the WaterTight zippers provide extra water resistance, and gave the sleeves and underarms an articulated, gusseted cut that makes it easy to hike, scramble, fight off mosquitoes, or do a celebratory dance when the rain stops falling and the sky turns blue (or when you can finally leave Priscilla's house and go back home).
