I got the impression that all Altra Lone Peak boots were waterproof, however this is not the case (only ALL-WTHR I guess), this should probably be explained somewhere. They got fully soaked as it was raining during my hike and now they're not in a condition to be returned. After spending this much money I can't get another pair of waterproof ones, which is a shame because they are very comfortable.

These are very comfortable with a wide toebox, so I bet they will be great for my upcomming trip. I don’t hate how they look like I usually do with walking/hiking shoes. They are a tiny bit lighter then pictured, but for just a bit.
Be cautios though and measure your foot beforehand! I ordered my usual size, eu41 and they were a size too small. Had to size up. The front of the shoe is pretty sturdy (which is good) so they wont adapt to the foot a lot. My foot is 26.5cm long, I usually wear 41 but here it’s labeled as 42.
