The Banff MIPS ski helmet from Alpina has everything you need! The hybrid shell construction offers optimal protection in the event of a fall. It boasts the MIPS technology, which further increases your safety on the slopes. This is designed to absorb and minimise the rotational forces acting during oblique impacts. In addition to safety, the ski helmet offers good ventilation. Heat won’t build up inside even on long days on the slopes or in the snow park. To regulate the air flow, the ventilation openings can be opened and closed with a slider. It’s completed by ear pads that you can remove in warmer weather.

• Hybrid Tec is a combination of in-mold and Hard Shell: the lower part of the helmet consists of an in-mold shell, while a Hard Shell covers the EPS at the top. The Hard Shell leaves plenty of room for ventilation ducts
• Hi-EPS: the inner shell is made of Hi-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrene). This consists of many, microscopically small air chambers that absorb the forces acting on them during an impact. In addition, Hi-EPS doesn’t absorb water and sweat
