Product description
Perfect for trekking in groups of three - the Vango Scafell 300+ 3-man tent. This tent is lightweight and has a small pack size. Plus, the interior is quite spacious as well. Incredibly easy to pitch, this tent will be up and ready to go in under seven minutes! Thanks to the TBS II Tension Band System, the Scafell is extremely sturdy and perfectly capable of withstanding harsher weather. This design also allows rainwater to run off more easily. What's more, the fly and the floor are equipped with taped seams so that no rainwater can penetrate into the interior. The entrance to the inner tent is made in part of mesh, guaranteeing excellent ventilation on the interior whilst simultaneously keeping insects out. Another nice feature is the addition of pockets in the inner tent in which you can store your small essentials. The tent comes with a FastPack tent bag, complete with a wide opening and compression straps, for compact and easy transport. I needed a tent for three that was light enough for me to carry most of the stuff, as I take my two under 11s with me, and they still can't manage too much on their backs when hiking any distance. This tent was perfect! It didn't take up too much room in my rucksack and was very manageable, as well as giving us enough space once we'd reached our destination. It is also easy to put up alone. The large porch area is fabulous for dumping stuff / mucky shoes. It would be nice if there were a little ground sheet for this though. I will look into getting one.
