The Women's Back-To-Berkeley Boot II from The North Face is an exceptionally high-quality winter boot with all the latest technology packed into an old school design. The outer layer of the shoe is made of 100% recycled PET and is durably water repellent. For waterproof protection, the shoe is equipped with a Hydro Seal membrane. Thanks to the use of PrimaLoft insulation, the boot provides excellent insulation at a low weight. To prevent any moisture finding its way into the shoe, the tongue is gusseted. The Ortholite insole is extremely comfortable and can be removed if it needs to be dried. The sole unit is nothing to sneeze at, either: The Back to Berkeley Boot 2 features a tough outsole from Ice Peak and a cushy EVA midsole for comfort and shock absorption.
