Down sleeping bag for expeditions in icy cold conditions
The "inferno" that the Inferno -40f/-40c down sleeping bag from The North Face ignites refers to its outstanding thermal performance while ambient temperatures are well below 0°C. At temperatures as low as -40°C, the down sleeping bag keeps you warm with a fill of 800 cuin ProDown, which is of course certified according to the RDS (Responsible Down Standard). Lightweight nylon with an additional warming XReflex aluminium coating completes the sleeping bag.

Despite its enormous warmth, the Inferno -40f/-40c Down Sleeping Bag from The North Face weighs only 1249 g in normal length. This makes the sleeping bag very easy to carry in travel or expedition luggage using the stuff sack and the additional handy storage bag.
The North Face uses many recycled materials in the production of the sleeping bag, making it more environmentally friendly and sustainable. The mummy shaped sleeping bag comes with a warm hood, comfortable foot box and integrated draught collar. The collar and hood can be individually adjusted with drawstrings, so that the sleeping bag can also be used comfortably in milder temperatures.
