Product description

Scarpa’s Mojito GTX are the perfect sneakers for walking through forests or in the city. In addition to their nice design, they’re also brimming with many functional features. The suede sneakers boast the GORE-TEX technology, which makes them windproof, waterproof and breathable. As a result, moisture caused by sweat will be able to escape to the outside. Plus, they feature toe caps to protect your feet against sharp edges and corners. In addition, the rubber sole comes with an EVA footbed, which provides stability and comfort, and they have a cushioning at the heels. Another practical feature includes the laces that reach to the toes to ensure a tight, secure fit. The Mojito GTX can take on any weather and terrain!

Scarpa Mojita gtx

I have now owned five pairs of these, I think this speaks for itself, they are great shoes, my only complaint would be they are a little on the big size and if you made a GTX one in children's size 35 I would buy them instead but it's a great product and I will probably own more pairs in the future!!

Question from Bronwen | Stafford
29.11.2020
What is the fit like on these please?

I want to buy for my brother, he is 6ft 5 and size 12 in shoes. He is big guy with broad feet. He lives in London and walks a lot, and is heavy on shoes. I have bought trail shoes before which are really hard wearing and suit. Thanks

Hi Bronwen, The Mojito will not be the best choice for your brother as Scarpa, in general, have a regular fit that does not suit wide feet. I'd recommend that you have a look at some approach or multisport shoes from Lowa, Hanwag or Mammut as all offer a better fit for your brother.

Question from lynn | Amble

What size would be best?

I usually take a size 4 in a normal shoe, should I go up to a 5 for a walking shoe? Also I have quite painful toe joints, would you recommend this shoe?

Hi Lynn, you can take this shoe in your street size or 0.5 sizes bigger if you want to wear thick socks with it. For longer hikes the Mojito Trail GTX is more appropriate as it has better impact absorbtion :-) https://www.alpinetrek.co.uk/scarpa-womens-mojito-trail-gtx-multisport-shoes/

I’m wondering which size to get now after this comment. I take a 37 in ordinary shoes and38 in hiking boots.
