Product description
The Maverick Mid GTX by Scarpa is an all-rounder for outdoor sports enthusiasts! It is lightweight and is therefore ideal for quick hiking in varying terrain. Its outer material consists of a blend of mesh and microfibre, which ensures reliable breathability. This is especially advantageous during sweat-inducing activities. GORE-TEXt keeps the foot dry. With the stable toe protection cap, the shoe provides ample protection and stability in rocky terrain.
The special crossover sole by Scarpa also helps with this, especially on trails. It ensures a balanced roll of the foot and supports a natural walking movement. The feet are therefore not easily fatigued. The pull-on loop makes handling significantly easier and the fit can be varied with the simple lacing! A multi-talent for active hikers!

I've had these a little over a year and done maybe 5-600 miles of fairly basic peak district hiking and the sole is peeling away. They're light and waterproof with great grip but durability is poor

These were garbage. I got Scarpa's as previous boots had been good and other fabric boots I tried were leaky. Sadly these were too, plus they started to fall apart after less than a year of light use. My faith in the brand has been badly damaged.

Hi Gary , The Maverick Mid GTX is really a light weight summer boot that will not be suitable for winter. Best to have a look through our selection of winter boots.
