I've had these a little over a year and done maybe 5-600 miles of fairly basic peak district hiking and the sole is peeling away. They're light and waterproof with great grip but durability is poor

These were garbage. I got Scarpa's as previous boots had been good and other fabric boots I tried were leaky. Sadly these were too, plus they started to fall apart after less than a year of light use. My faith in the brand has been badly damaged.

Hi Gary , The Maverick Mid GTX is really a light weight summer boot that will not be suitable for winter. Best to have a look through our selection of winter boots.
