Lightweight Dyneema tent for mountaineers
An ultra-lightweight shelter for mountaineering: the Radical 3 three-person tent from Samaya is a must-have for going to the summit. The dome tent is 105 cm high and offers space for two to three mountaineers to lie down, sleep and sit. It offers very good weather protection and is breathable. With its area of 2.9 m², you’ll be able to find a spot to sleep, and it’s easy to transport due to its weight of only 985 g.
Dome tent with a hydrostatic head of 20,000 mm
The Radical 3 3-person tent from Samaya is made of the lightweight and durable Dyneema fabric, which has a hydrostatic head of 20,000 mm on the tent fabric and floor. The functional fabric also allows moisture to escape to the outside thanks to its breathability of 40,000 g/m²/24h. The weatherproof tent is supported by a light and resistant carbon frame. The high-quality tent offers space for three climbers. It has a surface area of 210 x 140 cm and weighs less than 1 kg.
The free-standing dome can be braced to withstand strong winds. In addition, Samaya offers a matching tent pad, which provides additional protection against moisture, dirt and damage. However, the Radical 3 Footprint pad weighs an additional 180 g. The Samaya tent is completed by a front entrance with a YKK zip. The lightweight and stable tent is a must-have for extreme mountaineering in rough conditions.
