Hi Sue ,
An iphone 12 measures H: 146.7 mm (5.78 in) W: 71.5 mm (2.81 in) D: 7.4 mm (0.29 in) according to Google.
The phone will suqeeze it but I would not imagine it to feel very comfortable.
