Product description
Trail running shoes with grip for technical terrain
The Thundercross GTX from Salomon are the perfect trail running shoes for long runs on demanding trails. Whether stony downhills or muddy passages, these shoes make you well equipped for varied terrain with difficult passages. They feature a grippy rubber sole with an aggressive 5 mm lug pattern and offer excellent grip. Thanks to their strong cushioning, they are also ideally suited for ultra distances.
With a waterproof membrane
The textile upper is extremely durable and reinforced in key areas, making it ideal for intense use in stony terrain or on overgrown paths. With a heel height of 31 mm, the shoes offer a soft, springy running feel without sacrificing on precision. Meanwhile, the standard fit is neither too tight nor too wide. Plus, the 4 mm drop is also quite moderate and is ideal for long runs. In addition, the shoes are equipped with a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane, preventing moisture from penetrating through the upper into the shoe.
To sum up: the Thundercross GTX are made for long distances with difficult sections of terrain. Their outstanding features are excellent grip and particularly soft cushioning.
