You won’t want to be without the Cross Hike Mid GTX by Salomon on your next hike! Their synthetic upper is both lightweight and easy to clean. The GORE-TEX membrane also gives great weather protection while still being comfortably breathable, so you can still cover a few metres of altitude in tough conditions. The multidirectional studs work together with the Contagrip sole to give outstanding traction - even on muddy terrain. The rounded heel brake guarantees better heel stability so downhills are more comfortable too.
It’s no coincidence that these special boots are rather like trail running shoes, because that’s where Salomon got its inspiration for the Cross Hike. These walking boots are close to the ground and rapidly responsive too. Plus they also feature tough anti-debris mesh and a rubber rock guard. Perfect!
