Product description
The Salewa Vayo 2.0 is an incredibly lightweight climbing helmet with a carbon-reinforced outer shell. This robust hybrid made of polymer-ceramic Carbon Nano Tech composite material provides enhanced protection from rock fall. The inner shell consists of expanded polypropylene (EPP) and expanded polystyrene foam (EPS) for improved shock absorption. All these materials work together to provide excellent impact protection.
In addition to all that protection, the Vayo 2.0 has an array of clever features as well:
- Excellent ventilation thanks to large
vents on the inner and outer shell - quick and easy adjustments using the dial (one-handed)
- strong, replaceable clips for a head torch
- removable and washable padding that is easy to care for
- a chin strap with a magnetic buckle
