Product description
The Ropebag XL from Salewa is a backpack, rope bag and gear bag all in one. It's absolutely perfect for those longer approaches to the crag as well as the way to the climbing centre. The bag has a long zip so that you can access the your belongings at any time. On the inside, there is a removable tarp that protects the rope from moisture, dust and dirt. Plus, there's even an internal compartment for valuables and other small items. Once everything is packed, you can secure and compress the contents using the two external straps. There are also two gear loops for carabiners and more. The bag is large enough to accommodate a 60-metre rope, helmet, climbing shoes and other hardware. If you'd prefer to carry the bag like a duffle, you can pack away the shoulder straps and use the two grab handles. The Ropebag XL is a tough, versatile rope bag with 30 litres of volume and some practical little extras!
The Salewa Committed symbol indicates products that meet strict internal criteria at Salewa with regard to environmental and social responsibility. A Salewa product must meet two mandatory criteria and at least one additional criterion.
The mandatory criteria include: 1. Chemicals verified: more than 90% of the product weight meets at least one of the following criteria: a) the main fabric (for the entire product) has been chemically tested according to Oberalp's chemical guideline or b) the main fabric is bluesign-certified. 2. Factory monitored for social standards: the second obligatory criterion is that the factory where the product has been manufactured has been audited for social standards and working conditions by external audits.
The additional criteria, depending on the product, include upcycling, recycling, certain material compositions, PFC-free coatings or responsibly sourced down.
