I purchased this jacket to replace a 20 year old waterproof jacket as I was heading to the French & Swiss Alps for a trek and needed a replacement.
Prior to this trek, jacket was used on its first outing in the Irish Kerry Mountains. Rain penetrated the front of the jacket., which resulted in a mid and base layer getting wet. This happened again on a second outing in the West of Ireland.
I returned the jacket as its was not fit for purpose and subsequently sent back to me stating it was tested & met standards.
I was extremely disappointed. Only suitable for gardening in a light mist.
