This is what other customers say:
Have used this stove on several camping trips including two weeks cycling through the Outer Hebrides. A full bottle of fuel such as petrol lasts a long time. Can output significant heat for a quick boil. Its simplicity aids its reliability. Tool kit included to assist maintenance such as cleaning fuel nozzle. Prefers clean petrol (eg Primus or Coleman) to garage petrol which is a bit dirtier.
Downsides are: it can be high maintenance while cooking - sometimes need to re-pressurise the bottle. Difficult to set a low heat for a simmer - works best when on high power. You need good eyesight to get the cleaning needle into the fuel nozzle!

The Omni Fuel is very nice, works incredibly well with the butane cylinders or the Primus Fuel. Have not tried with other fuel types, as I'm lazy and don't want to clean it much. But in the Apocalypse.....

Is this the latest model ?
Hi Chris, No, this is the older Omnifuel I.
IPA is very cheap; much cheaper than Coleman fuel etc.
It evaporates to nothing so should be clean but I am not sure about materials compatibility.
Hi Peter, Unfortunately, no. It simply won't burn alcohol well if even at all. Best to stick with gasoline/petrol, diesel, kerosene/paraffin and even aviation fuel.

I find it works great, and agree with the above. I think it is sensitive to any dirt in the fuel, or in the nozzle from the outside, so now I carry it in a plastic bag, because the bag which comes with it has a mesh so dirt can get in. There is a fuel filter in the bit in the fuel bottle so in theory no dirt should enter that way but there may have been some from manufacture. The starting procedure (google for videos) must be followed exactly; if you just open it up and light it, it won't burn properly.
