Product description
A quality biner with great handling - the SMD Screw-Lock from Petzl! This screw-gate carabiner is great for big walls, alpine climbing, sport climbing and high-altitude mountaineering. The D-shape is guaranteed to provide an even load distribution in all directions and will fit well in your hand. Plus, thanks to the H-profile, you can operate it whilst wearing gloves as well. The carabiner comes equipped with a screw lock that works reliably in dirty conditions with mud, dirt and dust. There's also a red band to indicate when the carabiner is unlocked. A cool little detail is the small hole underneath the gate, which you can use to connect a ascender or pulley to the carabiner with a cord. Clever and versatile - the Petzl SMD Screw-Lock!
