Product description
Head for the high ground with the Patagonia Ascensionist Daypack 35L - 2136cu in. Designed for cragging on mixed terrain, ice, or rock, and sewn from a lightweight but rugged combination of 6.5oz 210D and 400D double-ripstop nylon, it's an excellent all-around climbing accessory. The single aluminum-loop frame, with a trampoline mesh center panel, is contoured for comfort and ease of movement and can be easily removed via a hook-and-loop closure to shave weight and add additional flexibility. The spindrift collar features an integrated lid secured by a heavy-duty aluminum hook and adjustable webbing strap, for varying-volume loads. And a secondary inner rainfly collar provides additional weather protection and acts as an expansion panel. Side compression straps quickly and easily adjust on the go to lock down the load, and also secure the upper shaft of your axes. The sheathed axe carry keeps the axe heads securely out of the way on the approach, and locked into place until they're called for. The ergonomic shoulder straps feature lightweight padding and load lifter straps, and the custom hipbelt features removable padding to easily transition down to a lean webbing belt, or can be removed entirely to save additional ounces. Four rows of daisy chains add external attachment options, from crampon attachments to a vertical ski carry, and a zippered lid pocket stores small essentials. A one-pack quiver, the Ascensionist is built to support all your high-country adventures.
