The lid pocket can also be removes and worn as a lumbar pack! This makes it easier to explore the area around your campsite in comfort without lugging around your entire backpack. The Ariel 65 provides fantastic weather protection while touring with its integrated rain cover. Ice tools, trekking poles and a sleeping pad can be directly attached to the backpack using the external loops.
