Product description
This versatile wool jacket with its reversible design is suitable not only for the mountain but also for everyday life - the Swisswool Piz Boval Jacket from Ortovox. The outer material of the insulation jacket consists of a windproof Pertex Quantum fabric that is made of recycled synthetic fibre and features a water-repellent DWR finish. As insulation, Ortovox uses the sustainable and eco-friendly Swisswool. The virgin wool for the insulation is animal-friendly and sourced in Switzerland, ensuring a high thermal output in all temperatures. Even when wearing a backpack, the chest pocket on the front can be readily accessed. Owing to the low weight and the small pack size, the Ortovox Swisswool Piz Boval Jacket can be taken with you everywhere in your touring backpack as a lightweight wool jacket and can be pulled on quickly if required.

Hello
How abrasion resistant is the jacket and is it easy to wash?
Thank you
Hi John, Ortovox are not specific as to which Pertex Quantum material they are using here but it will be extremely scuff resistant . All Ortovox washing instructions can be found here via the following link:

Hi Paul, Unfortunately, it's not currently possible for us to get that measurement for you and we can only advice that you use the measurements in the size chart as a guide. In this case , the size XL will suit a chest size of 107/112 cm.
