Highly recommended for alpine activities in cold weather: the Dufour Jacket von Ortovox! This Ortovox jacket boasts an excellent weight-to-warmth ratio! Made of the natural virgin wool swisswool, the fabric provides plenty of space for air in between the fibres, which the serves as an insulation layer. The wool is exceptionally light and a very small pack size. A particularly practical feature: The fabric can absorb large amounts of water vapour and will keep you warm even when wet. Plus, the wool is coated with wind and water-repellent polyamide for more protection against wind and moisture. This is also very robust and highly breathable. With its slim fit and elastic cuffs and hem, the jacket is extremely comfortable as an outer layer or insulating layer underneath a hardshell. In addition, your smaller pieces of equipment can be store in the two chest pockets. Very functional and packable: The Ortovox Dufour Jacket will fit perfectly in your pack and is thus ideal for alpine adventures.
