One of the best bouldering mats for the price!
The cost and diversity of this bouldering mat made it an easy choice. The adaptability to be used in different configurations and the zip means that you can potentially have 3 different mats in one package and easy to store unit.
- Advantages

This is the second one I have order due to the fact that for the price you won't find a better boulder pad anywhere. It's real comfortable yet hard enough that you know your not going to roll an ankle or wrist on impact. The first pad I order has taken some serious abuse and only has a small punch hole to show for this but due to the nature of the sport this was always likely to happen. Delivery was prompt but have to say that the uk delivery company need to seriously work on their tracking system as when I received the pad the tracking service said it was still in koln.

Wore through the side stitching fairly quickly compared to other pads. Pretty thin, but does the job. Good closure system. Doesn't have the attachment system that the dominators have for carrying multiple pads. Sad about the lesser quality of material joining, so depends on what you're looking for out of your pad

- Disadvantages
- Wears too quickly
It's much stiffer than most matts, but I quite prefer that - particularly when you have a particularly rocky landing. It's quite small compared to other matts also - which can be good or bad. Pair it with a big cushiony moon matt and you're good!

I'm not much of a boulderer so haven't used it much as a crash pad. I bought it because of the price and the 2 ways it can be zipped. I have slept on it several times. It needs a soft topper to make it comfortable unless you like a super firm matress.
I haven't managed to use the straps to make an easy chair that doesn't roll back yet ;o)
