Wide down sleeping bag for mountain sports
Thanks to a water-repellent PFC-free DWR finish on the outer, the Helium GT 600 by Mountain Equipment is the perfect down sleeping bag for mountain sports. The breathable Helium fabric quickly wicks away moisture to the outside and provides a pleasant climate on the inside. The wide cut of the sleeping bag does not constrict you and ensures a restful sleep after a long day of hiking in the mountains. Both the outer and the inner are made from recycled fibres.
Compactly stowable in a waterproof stuff sack
The compression stuff sack’s roll-top and its waterproof fabric keep your eggshell sleeping bag dry. The articulated hood with practical drawstring makes the Mountain Equipment Helium GT 600 the ideal down sleeping bag for high altitude tours, trekking and expeditions.

Depends on the area where you are going, but around the 5000m it can drop to -25 C and in some area's (Ladakh ~6000m elevation) the temperatures are even lower.
This comes very close to the 'extreme' rating of the Helium GT 600, which results in a survival situation. Even though you technically could use this sleeping bag for your intended use, I personally would not. I would rather go for a sleeping bag such as the Y BY NORDISK - Arctic 1400 for example, where you have a bit of a temperature buffer in case you need it.
Keep in mind that it is also highly depended on your sleeping conditions (outside or inside) and the clothing that you wear during the night.
