Product description
Waterproof walking boots with a reinforced heel area
With the Rogue Hiker Mid GTX walking boots from Merrell, your next hike in the mountains will be a complete success. These lightweight walking boots are constructed with a GORE-TEX membrane. The waterproof and breathable membrane protects your feet against moisture penetration and reliably allows any body moisture to escape to the outside. Thanks to a TPU coating, the upper is protected against damage and abrasion when hiking.
Optimal grip in rough terrain
In addition, a rubberised toe cap protects your toes against injuries. Plus, the reinforced heel area is made from TPU to keep your feet optimally stabilised in demanding terrain. The 5 mm long lugs of the Vibram Megagrip rubber compound offer powerful traction in both wet and dry conditions in the mountains. Thanks to the precise lacing alongside the lace hooks, the Merrell Rogue Hiker Mid GTX walking boots can be comfortably adjusted to your feet before every mountain tour.
The advantages at a glance:
- Tough walking boots for hill walks, treks and hut-to-hut tours
- Waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane integrated into the upper
- Reinforced heel and toe cap ensure excellent wearing comfort
- Removable PU insole made from recycled materials

Reviews overview
This is what other customers say:
Supposedly waterproof but I spent 7 days on the Overland Track with wet feet. I’ve tested the boots now I am back and if you submerge in water it seeps into the boot within a minute.
That totally undermined what is otherwise a good sturdy grippy boot.
