If you're into tough multi-pitch or sport climbing routes, you need a climbing helmet you can rely on. And the lightweight, technical Wall Rider MIPS from Mammut is that helmet. A pioneer amongst its peers, the Wall Rider is the first to be equipped with patented MIPS technology. Upon angular impact, the low friction layer allows the helmet to shift relative to the head, meaning that some of the rotational forces generated upon impact are redirected and absorbed.
This innovative construction consists of a combination of a lightweight EPP core with a partial hard shell. The large vents will keep your head cool when you reach the crux. The minimalist adjustment system with adjustable chin strap allows for a perfect individualised fit. And, if you head out at the crack of dawn or head back late, you can clip on your head torch.
