The Crashiano Pad by Mammut is an extensive Crash pad for the fall of all falls. Every Boulderer knows the problem, where gravity sooner or later succeeds and the fingers open mercilessly. Or you underestimated a dynamo and did not quite reach the handle - a journey towards the ground is thus inevitable.
The Crashiano offers a pretty good cushioning due to its combination of three foam layers. Thereby, the top layer is in one piece avoiding the risk to fall on to the interface. The super-robust surface material endures many falls and does not mind shortcuts through bristly undergrowth.
There are carry handles for short distance transportations; longer distances are not a problem either thanks to the back carry system. Since there is nothing worst than to do your first steps with dirty climbing shoes, the Crashiano Pad additionally offers a practical floor mat on the upper side! So no need to bring your scuffed Persian rug.
