The 8.0 Alpine Core Protect Dry Rope from Mammut is a revolutionary double rope for alpine climbing and mountaineering. It’s significantly more cut-resistant and fulfils all the standards of a dynamic climbing rope.

Additional aramid jacket

The Core Protect Rope has an extra sheath made of aramid between the polyamide outer sheath and core to better protect the rope from sharp rock and metal edges. In the event of a fall, this aramid sheath unfurls thanks to its extra-long construction, and the rope will behave just as dynamically as any other Mammut rope. The handling properties and abrasion resistance remain the same, but the cut resistance is increased!
