A little bit let down after wearing the Makke Pant for the first time, within 5 minutes, a popper on the right leg cuff broke off. Hope this is a one off.

Hello Nathan, Please - if possible - send us some photo's of the defect to [email protected], we're happy to help. Best regards, Kay
I decided it would be better to buy one high quality pair of hiking trousers than a couple of pairs of cheaper ones. I did quite a lot of research and the Makke pants seemed like the best value for money, although £161 is a lot of money.
I have a 34" waist. I didn't want my trousers to be too tight. I bought a 36 and 38. The 36 were too tight on my waist and thighs. The 38" are perfect on my legs but slightly too big around the waist. I'm glad I bought two pairs so I didn't have to wait to re-order the correct size.
The trousers are lightweight but they feel robust. They are nice and stretchy eventhough I sized up so that they weren't skin tight. They are water resistant although I haven't fully tested them yet.
Overall I'm very happy with the trousers and relieved I managed to get them at a discount.
One quality pair is probably better than a couple of pairs of inferior quality ones.

Definitely size up on the waist for mens. Im a 34 but needed a 36 as they fit very tight across the front and rear . The length is spot on . I was warned but didn't listen .

These trousers are a great cut for being active. Lots of details that help with ventilation and the stretch material used to allow for articulation when climbing is great. Great to wear.
