Ideal for your next trek or hill walk - the Baldo GTX from LOWA! Featuring a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX lining, this leather boot is guaranteed to keep your feet nice and dry. Plus, it comes equipped with a Vibram Trac Lite II, which has a multi-functional tread that delivers superb grip and traction on various surfaces. Another plus: If the sole wears out after several years of use, you can get it resoled!
The Baldo GTX also features two-zone lacing, which makes it possible for you to tie the collar tighter and free up some space at the instep. In other words, you can adjust the lacing for uphills and downhills. Plus, LOWA has secured the tongue both vertically an horizontally to prevent it shifting and causing any unpleasant chafing. Outstanding boot. Even more appreciated as my previous pair were some Arc'teryxs that literally fell apart and were never waterproof to start with despite their claims. Am treating my Lowas as recommended with waterproofing spray and special silicone leather cream every few weeks. Being leather they do take their time to dry naturally between walks.
