Product description
Belaying for a long period of time can cause neck pain. The Belay Glasses VC from LACD help prevent exactly this.
The goggles are equipped with two prisms that show the belayer what the climber is doing on the wall: whether they are clipping, need slack rope or to reel in rope. Thanks to the wide prisms, the goggles give you a good view of the wall. They are angled in a way that allow you to point your head forward, i.e. keep it in a normal position. This avoids neck pain.
A practical side effect: due to the open construction of the goggles, the belayer not only has a view of the climber above them, but also of the belay device, the foot space and the area directly in front of them. This ensures a better behaviour when the climber falls.
Please note: do not look directly into the sun with the prism.
