Aluminium ski touring poles
The Free Tour 280 from Komperdell are durable, comfortable poles for freeriding, ski touring and snowshoeing. Featuring a Powerlock 3.0 clamp mechanism, you can easily adjust the length of the poles.
Grip extension and adjustable straps
Thanks to the elongated grip, you can hold the poles differently during short climbs without having to change the length. Another great feature includes the adjustable straps for guaranteed comfort. Plus, they have carbide tips that offer good grip on slippery and wet surfaces. With the included snow baskets, the ski touring poles won’t sink too deep into the terrain even in fresh snow. I used the poles for a 14 hours trail split in 2 days and they were fine. The grip was actually pretty comfortable and their weight is not that bad.
I only had 1 "problem" in my experience. I would prefer if they could get a bit shorter. I find 100 cm a bit long as they cannot easily adjust on almost any bag. For that reason alone I would not recommend this product to anyone who likes to mix some light climbing in their hikking. Besides that the poles are pretty good.
To conclude with, I got the poles with a 40% discount so compered to the price I paid the poles are great but for their starting price of almost 80 euros you can get better in my opinion. So if you get the chance to buy them at a lower price dont think twice.
