I would check other water proof shoes

It is a great and comfortable pair of shoes, used for walks and light hiking; for anything else, it is too soft.
I did search exactly for this kind of shoe, which would also be waterproof, but this one is not. Or at least my pair was not. In modest rain, I got wet fingers.
