Really comfortable and lightweight, but a bit small for my typical size, I would recommend a half a size up

Hi B, Use a damp cloth or a soft brush to remove dirt and from time to time apply some Nikwax Fabric & Leather Proof to help with water repellency.
What is the fit like with these boots? I have wide feet, will these be ok or are they a narrow fit?
Also, I currently own a pair of Merrells which are comfortable but after about 5 miles, my Achilles become strained and painful, are these boots likely to be more accommodating?
Hi David, I'd recommend the Ferrox Pro mid GTX: https://www.alpinetrek.co.uk/lowa-ferrox-pro-gtx-mid-walking-boots/
They are very similar but have plenty of width so should suit you better.
