I had explored heated gloves before but my previous pair was not windproof and so was useless at speed or in windy conditions. I have Reynaud's syndrome and it is getting worse and I was genuinely worried about how to keep my fingers warm and safe while skiing. I already had a pair of Hestra "lobster claw" mittens and they are excellent so I trusted the manufacturer.
These liners are expensive but if it means that you can ski longer/higher/at all, then they are worth it. The liners are fluffy and super-comfortable and can be recharged during lunch if you bring a battery-pack. I wear mine with the "lobster claw" heli glove shell and recommend absolutely.

Our heated liner allows you to turn your existing Hestra gloves into electrically heated gloves. Features heated coils at each fingertip and the thumb, embedded on the backhand for cold winter days. The temperature can be adjusted in three steps depending on the weather. May for instance be worn together with these gloves: 30570 Army Leather Heli Ski 5-finger 30571 Army Leather Heli Ski Mitt 30572 Army Leather Heli Ski 3-finger 30670 Army Leather Patrol Gauntlet 30660 Army Heli Ski OutDry 30480 Narvik Wool Terry **IMPORTANT:** Should be worn as a liner with a shell glove for cover and protection of the electric components. The electronic components in this glove may interfere with avalanche transceivers.
Suffer from Raynauds.
Hi Woodruff, While this glove on its own may offer the dexterity that you need for shooting, these are designed only as a liner glove that should be worn with a shell glove for cover and protection of the electrical components. In addition, the heated coils are only embedded on the back of the hand. Not recommended in your case.
