The Bergfreunde edition of Grivel’s G12 is a classic crampon for mountaineering and simple ice climbing! No matter if the trail leads you through mixed terrain, firn edges or frozen waterfalls, the G12 breaks the ice between you and nature. The front points ensure solid footing and break through the hardest surfaces. Moreover, the backwards-directed points ensure a secure grip during descents. The 12-point crampon is made of chrome molybdenum steel and can be adjusted to your personal shoe size.

Info about binding systems: Cramp-O-Matic is a heel lever for crampon-compatible shoes (sole edge on the front and rear). New Matic is made of a heel lever on the rear and plastic cups on the front and suitable for partly crampon-compatible shoes (sole rim on rear). New Classic is a binding type made of plastic straps and suitable for all types of mountaineering and trekking shoes (no sole rim required).
