The right size for you will depend on your torso length rather than your back system.
Size M/L torso 43.2cm - 50.8cm
Size L torso 48.3cm - 55.9cm
Based on your cheat size , I woul think it likely that the back system may not suit and you may be better off with a Gregory Plus model such as the Stout 70 Plus.
