As a result, it promotes increased moisture wicking in these areas and protects against abrasion from the front. In addition, the G-1000 Wax Crayon can be used to quickly refresh the Sten Jacket's treatment.

The hood successfully protects you against various weather conditions. Meanwhile, the wind and water-repellent material is ideal for hiking, trekking or even everyday use! You can quickly warm up your hands in the two front pockets, where they are well protected from cold winds. Plus, there is room for a card or wallet in the chest pocket. How waterproof is this jacket before waxing. I have various fjallraven g1000 garments and waxing to be honest is a bit hit and miss labourious and doesn’t work so well.
Hi Peter, This will be not at all waterproof but only mildly water repellent. Basically , It will turn a shower and that's it. Waxing will improve things but you're right , it can be hit and miss and labourious.
