Hey Mike,

It sounds like you’re happy with the walking pole/umbrella overall, but something isn’t quite working as expected when you twist the pole. From the part of your message that came through, I can’t yet tell whether the pole won’t extend, won’t lock securely, or won’t loosen again.

I’d avoid applying extra force to the twist mechanism for now, as that could make the problem worse.

Could you complete the sentence after “although I am able to twist…”? Then I can help you work out exactly what’s happening and what you can safely check.
