Product description
A triple standard rope for crags and ice
The Swift 48 Pro Dry 8.9 mm from Edelrid is an incredible, all-round single rope. The climbing rope has three standards and can be used as a single, half and twin rope. Featuring a diameter of only 8.9 mm, it’s one of the thinnest single ropes on the market, and it’s super lightweight. The rope is also great to handle due to the particularly fine sheath structure, which not only makes the rope abrasion-resistant, but it also ensures a great feel whilst belaying.
In addition, it has a core-sheath treatment that prevents the rope from absorbing water, allowing you to use it whilst ice climbing or traversing glaciers. The treatment also helps keep the dirt at bay. As a result, the rope will remain relatively dry, it won’t become stiff in cold conditions and it’ll last longer.
If you want to get started right away when you first use the rope, then you're in for a treat: thanks to the special lap coiling technique, the rope is ready for use right out of the packaging, so you won’t need to unwind it first!
