This is what other customers say:
When Salomon changed their lasts a few years ago, their Speedcross shoes no longer worked for me. Due to having a very narrow foot, a high instep, and issues with my achilles it's taken 2 years of trial and error (and scouring reviews) to land on Dynafit as a suitable alternative.
Overall it's a very well constructed shoe, with pretty much everything a trail runner should be.
Pros:
- great last for narrow feet; toebox is just right, with good vertical space.
- speedlacing with quick release
- contragrip tread pattern with good lug depth
- slight arch to sole for a bit more traction on uneven surfaces
- robust cage (though see cons)
- nice combination of fabrics
A few cons compared with Salomon:
- the cage is a bit too rigid in the instep for my taste; not sure if this will improve with wear.
- the speedlace is very short; needs to be 1-2 inches longer to allow for better opening; very difficult to get the shoe on with a thicker sock.
- the speedlace pocket makes it difficult to adjust the tension of the sections of lace below them. Will mostly likely end up cutting the pocket off to get around that.
- comes with Ortholite footbeds as standard, but they felt too low (as if I was walking on my heels). Have added a 5mm heel lift under the footbed.
- sole isn't as tacky in the wet as Salomon, but on that basis likely to last longer.
Still an excellent show, recommend for it's robustness and the overall fit for slender feet - but be aware if you have a high arch you may find them a bit tight due to the lacing.
Runs small; measure your feet then go a size up (size and a half if you wear thick wool socks)

I have a lot of problems with collapsed arches and find it hard to get comfortable runners. These are perfect they hold the foot in place and have perfect arch support and are hard wearing. They do size small normally a 7 (41) I ordered the 42 and it fits perfectly. Its a brand I will stick with.
