I’m a uk 12 pretty standard. Coat was lovely but the 38 was huge and too long I’m the arms. Exchange looks very straightforward and free so buying a 36 instead. I used the alpine trek measurement checker as well which recommended a 38

Your question has been cut short but , yes , this parka is oversized to allow for extra layers in colder weather. If you wish to have a neater fit then size down.

A Traditional good parka. Longer than the standard one, but is perfect for late autumn. Runs oversized so seriously take one size smaller than you take.
