I purchased it for my 3 years old, to have his own forst backpack for the kindergarten.
PRO: Deuter quality. It is hilarious to feel, that regardless of the size, and use case their quality commitment is just rock-solid. Really good to touch.
CON: small, even for a 3 years old. He can put 2 fav toys (small, like a playmobil puppet, etc), 2 very small t-shirts in it, and that's it. But the biggest problem is: the bottle pocket can not even hold a 3dl kids bottle.
So nice, cute, quality product, but not good even for a half day walk in the city.

No age is offered by Deuter but a user back length of 20-23cm and a user height of 92-98cm are suggested.
