For most people it will be too small, but you can put something of clothing under it and its feeling is not comparable to an inflatable pillow, this one is more comfortable, but when packed it takes up many times more space than an inflatable one. I realized that if I put a sleeping bag, a self-inflating pad and this pillow in my backpack, there would be no room for food and other things, and I would enjoy the starry night on an empty stomach...
