The Distance 15 from Black Diamond is a men's hybrid backpack designed for long, difficult tours in alpine terrain. It combines the wing-like, ergonomic carrying system of a trail running backpack with the pack and storage options of a classic day touring backpack. The result is a well thought-out mountaineering backpack with numerous options for transporting equipment, which at the same time adapts smoothly to dynamic movements. Thanks to its extremely tear-resistant UHMWPE ripstop fabric, it is ideally suited for more demanding use.

Movement wonder and transport talent

The two straps made from breathable stretch fabric fit like a vest, hugging the shoulders tightly to ensure a secure, chafe-free fit thanks to their seamless construction. The shoulder straps feature edge taping technology to increase their comfort and durability and reduce weight.

In addition, two compartments at chest level offer space for a couple of soft flasks (not included). The shoulder straps boast two elasticated pockets on the sides, with an additional zipped pocket in the left strap. Two side pockets offer storage space for folding poles, while ice axes can be fixed to the two attachment options. With the help of the compression straps, this backpack can be reduced to a more compact size.
