Product description

Lightweight, packable and hard-wearing: the Alpine Z walking poles from Black Diamond! These four-season walking poles consist of three aluminium segments, which are connected to each other by a Kevlar cord on the inside, like an avalanche probe. To unlock the segments, all you have to do is press a button. The length of Alpine Z walking poles can be adjusted quickly and easily using the FlickLock Plus system. The grip is made of natural cork and comes complete with an EVA foam grip extension for use in steep terrain, which is great in wet and cold conditions as well. Both trekking and powder baskets are included. The Flex Tech Tips are replaceable and allow you to use either carbide or rubber tips.

Love these poles, had multiple

Love these poles, never found any as good as black diamond. They never slip. I slightly prefer the none-folding version, as they are slightly lighter, but that's personal preference.
They never slip or break. Had a pair that needed the tips replacing, but once done, they were as good as new.
Only had to replace as I lost them, not because they broke.
