The Arc'teryx Men's Alpha Comp Pant combines the free-moving softshell that ice climbers want and the weatherproof protection that alpinists need. Three-layer, fully taped GORE-TEX panels protect the seat, leg fronts, and lower legs with guaranteed waterproof breathable protection. Water-resistant Fortius 1.0 softshell covers the waist, crotch, backs of each leg, and gussets with stretchy air permeability to keep you comfortably warm whether you're climbing or not.An e3D design with a gusseted construction makes sure you can move freely in the trim-fitting Alpha Comp. It also features an integrated webbing belt and adjustable cuffs for a secure fit. You can set each lower leg gusset in three positions: closed for crampons, middle for alpine boots, and completely open for ski boots. Keprotec hem adjusters ensure that your crampons don't cut up the lower legs, and the zippered thigh pocket is a perfect place for your GPS.
