Product description

If you love climbing waterfalls, glaciers or scree slopes, then you need a tough, waterproof and fast-drying pair of mountaineering boots. We’ve got exactly what it takes: allow us to present to you the Acrux AR Mountaineering Boot from Arc’teryx.

First and foremost, the Adaptive Fit technology allows you to get the perfect fit without any pressure points thanks to a removable liner made of stretch material and minimal seams. The boots are also equipped with a triple-layer GORE-TEX membrane for microclimate regulation and waterproof properties. Another practical feature is the liner’s perforated, quick-drying PE foam and a rubberised sole that allows you to use it as a camp shoe. Plus, the PE inner is pre-formed to ensure a secure hold, optimal insulation and supports the Adaptive Fit principle.

Thanks to its laminated design and GORE-TEX gaiters, the boots will defy water, ice, snow and even damage caused by crampons and crag. Additionally, you can rely on the Vibram outsole for sure-footedness even in temperatures below zero. Some other amazing features are: a semi-blocked toe area with anti-slip grooves, a heel with braking pressure for steep descents and a climbing zone in the middle of the sole.
